Mary Stayed Out All Night EPs 15-16

I did it; I watched the last two today as well. And it didn't sting TOO BADLY in the end. They threw in some fanservice I think, to keep us fangirls from throwing things at the screen ;) I'm ending this with a sense of relief, and just basically, blah. Show, you had the actors, you could have been so much more.

- Mary Stayed Out All Night, Episode 15: I had to read the recap to understand that Mu-Kyul had made enough money to get back the pawned ring and was taking it to Jung-In to settle things. See, when things MAKE SENSE it blindsides me now! ;D
Oh LOOK HE THROWS A TANTRUM AND WALKS AWAY FROM HER AGAIN. Seriously, and they're going to sail off into the sunset together? He may have feelings for her but he still can't handle a relationship like an adult.
Oh not a bus. Why does everyone brood on buses? And can we stop overplaying this Hello, Hello song now? It's been played about twice in every episode since it was written in.
Are they going to break up this episode? God, I just realised if Mae-Ri did throw off everyone bad for her she'd have nobody left either. Although she'd survive. She's warm and caring and people would surround her quickly.
Awww, poor Mu-Kyul is all different because he was willing to change for her - without being asked to - and his pride is hurt by it :P Seems Seo-Jun can still push his buttons after all.
He just treats all women badly, really. Mae-Ri's dad. I know So-Young isn't an angel either, but goddamn he treats her awfully.
Seriously, all these men treat Mae-Ri so bad! I'd be tired too. This girl, I feel sadder for her now than at the beginning of the drama when they repossessed all her stuff. She was still cheerful then. Now all she does is cry.
Here you go, Jung-In, this woman on your staff has worked hard and is really cute - see if she's single! A party is a great excuse to get drunk and kiss her! Keep being a good guy, Jung-In <3
Just look at him with pity, Mae-Ri. Your father is so dense it's just sad. Don't allow him power over you anymore.
Okay I kind of see this taunting as Jung-In expecting Mu-Kyul to step up properly. He's still not properly committed to Mae-Ri. If Mu-Kyul has a rival, it should make him serious? It's still very much a big brother attitude; "Mae-Ri deserves better than you." I like the protective brother Jung-In ;D
omg all their friends are so interfering and nuts XD I love how the boy pulled their act, and then sat giggling as the girls put on their act!
He loves her, he changed for her, he got embarrassed about it and now is running away. Some love, hmmm? That's basically all this is. Got to love men and their pride. Good for absolutely nothing.
OMG DID MAE-RI'S FATHER JUST REALISE SHE'S UNHAPPY? ...THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT.
Oh Mae-Ri, apparently you're still the only one prepared to tell the truth. And still getting coerced into everything.
Everyone has been invited to this drama-vacation. So we've got the office full of people with invites to the wedding, Jung-In not denying it, Mae-Ri drowned out by everyone, and all their friends along for the ride. So Mu-Kyul will eventually turn up and there will be a nice clash. And the truth will probably out in the end. Although there's one more episode for that to happen.
Is Seo-Jun feeling sorry for Mae-Ri? Oh, nope. Ah, Seo-Jun sees to the heart of it though. She doesn't need EITHER MAN.
'Hello, Hello' is playing AGAIN. For more dumb flashbacks. We already know all this happened! And, especially the early stuff, it was good! Playing it over does not help make THIS better NOW.
Oh honey, he's caused you pain too. It isn't all your fault.
...Going missing on a mountain/in a forest seems to be a common drama cliche too. Let's hit them all on our way down! Why not?
Oh for god's sake. Just once can we have a show where NOBODY FALLS OVER EVER? No clumsiness, no klutzes, no tripping. I guess they were about to find their way back and we had to ruin that for dramatic effect by knocking Jung-In unconscious. But since Mu-Kyul is here he'll go save the day; that's his entire role here right now!
Hmm, interesting way to keep someone warm for sure. And now Mae-Ri feels guilty and is keeping the bedside vigil. I thought her dad WANTED her to be the little wife? This is very little wife!
Wow, we're in the twlight zone! Mu-Kyul's mum only just NOW is behaving like a mother, cooking and everything! Did all the guilty finally crush her attitude?
Heh, Seo-Jun is all competant and holding things together for Jung-In. If only temporarily, it still shows she'd be a good help to him ;)
OH GOD, THE UNEXPLAINED UNCONSCIOUNESS. IT'S CLEARLY EMOTIONAL AND MAE-RI MUST KISS HIM AND DECLARE HER LOVE TO WAKE HIM UP! LIKE A FAIRYTALE! Oh don't make his father get all touchy-feely now, last time he did that he SMACKED HIS SON.
...So Seo-Jun talked sense into Mu-Kyul? Uhm, twilight zone in full effect!
Okay we end on a nice note of stupid. It's always been Mu-Kyul and only MU-KYUL ever tried to insinuate anything was going on otherwise. Mae-Ri has never been unfaithful and even now she is staying at Jung-In's side out of guilt, and this is only at the hospital, it's not about the fake marriage at all.

- Mary Stayed Out All Night, Episode 16: Yeah, let's start this episode with 'Hello, Hello' again; I'm already missing it! XP
Interesting how only NOW has Mu-Kyul decided to put away Mae-Ri's things. I thought he'd already decided she was a changed person and only when he discovered she was missing did his true feelings surface.
Well at least she called him an idiot! LOL.
Mmm we're still forcing the wedding and now nobody wants to go through with it at all. And Jung-In is so lying about this isn't he, to get Mu-Kyul to make a definitive move. There's no reason to beg his dad to put it off... Unless he knew that would make his dad push for it more. Crazy Jung-In for the last episode? :x We're already crashing, why not burn too?
Oh for goodness sake, there isn't going to be a wedding as far as she's concerned so why would she go talk about it?
...Could Jung-In be hoping Mae-Ri and Mu-Kyul will use the wedding that gets set up to get married themselves?
And why is Mae-Ri staying at home? Just go be with Mu-Kyul for goodness sake. More time limits? They both have magical watches that put love on a schedule. And how is this different from her asking for him to wait for Jung-In to wake up earlier? I know, I know, so they get to the wedding day. And WHY does Mae-Ri get dressed up and go? After all this "you can't have a wedding without a bride!" sense.
Why didn't Jung-In let Mu-Kyul in on the plot? How is he going to get him there? They could've arranged this between them. It's surely going to put Mu-Kyul in a spot, having marriage sprung (forced) on him!
All the male characters have sure been wearing a lot of black lately. Rather depressing. Even Jung-In's grooms suit (tux) is black.
Yeah, so harsh of her friends not to come! Totally unlike her dad who has guilt-tripped and forced his daughter here! I take it she hasn't told any of them, since she's not planning to go through with it. Why waste their time getting dressed up? ;) Although the girls might WANT to get dressed up! Is she even going to have bridesmaids? There isn't anyone unless they use random women at Jung-In's work.
...Although they are all such bigmouths she probably didn't expect any of them to keep it a secret!
Yuck, that aisle is so sterile with all that glass and bright light. And Worst Dad has a goddamned throne by the looks of it! :x
Uhm, Mu-Kyul, she's been telling you this whole time she's coming to you, you have to figure there's a plan at work here! Come on dude. It makes no sense AT ALL to me either but apparently she's got it figured out!
...Do they both think if they just stay silent everything will be okay? This is a rather lame way to rebel XD Oh, or it's just public embarrassment for the parents so they'll never try this again?
HE'S DOING WHAT THEY'VE TOLD YOU THEY WERE GOING TO DO SINCE THE BEGINNING. Let's hope that message got through their thick skulls?
Yup, Jung-In, just nod. It really hurts but it's what's right. All that's in her heart is him.
Somehow Mu-Kyul needed this moment. You give your heart away and you could get hurt. But it's worth the risk. Let him feel the pain for a while so he knows what it is to love so much.
TELL HIM SEO-JUN... Or she's thinking what I am. Seeing him suffer proves how much he cares. Aha, he's clued in! ;) We had to have one last misunderstanding, for old time's sake.
Oh even Mae-Ri's dad didn't know? How dumb was he? They were all friends! Oh pffft, Mae-Ri's dad is not a pawn in this. He went along with it for what he could gain! Nothing has changed! Stop trying to redeem the man so you can have Mae-Ri reconcile with the useless bastard.
HUG HER AND HOLD HER TIGHT AND NEVER LET HER GO NOW YOU USELESS IDIOT! God, if he ever gets jealous again she needs to kick him right up the ass!
...Oh God. The magic divorce papers they could have signed in like, episode 1 or 2? THEY'VE ARRIVED IN EPISODE 16! We were so worried! We thought you'd NEVER GET HERE!
Poot Jung-In is being disowned. (Go move in with Mu-Kyul and Mae-Ri! THREESOMES! I CAN HOPE TIL THE VERY END!) I'm thinking his drama will be such a success he can pay daddy dearest back and still have enough to survive on his own.
...Did Mae-Ri forget the whole ultimatum to Jung-In? Succeed, or daddy cuts you off? Marry, or daddy rejects you? Jung-In knew this was coming!
OMG I THINK THIS DRAMA IS ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING GREAT. GO STAY WITH THEM JUNG-IN! I CALLED IT AGES AGO! THREESOMES!
Awww omg so cute. Jung-In is hungry! He got no food!
OMG SHARE A BED. SHARE SHARE SHARE YES YES YES. JUNG-IN YOU ARE TOTALLY GAY FOR MU-KYUL.
OMG JUNG-IN DRIVING THAT VAN IS ADORABLE. LMAO GETTING USED TO A LESS OPULENT LIFE WILL BE SO AMUSING. Please to have Mae-Ri and Mu-Kyul help him out with this in the future! <3 I would have watched a whole drama of that: a guy befriending people who can teach him to live the simple - but happy - life XD xD
EVERYONE KNOWS FALLING ASLEEP ON SOMEONE'S SHOULDER IS A SIGN OF YOUR LOVE FOR THEM, MU-KYUL. AND JUNG-IN SMILED ABOUT IT.
Oh that's not totally true, Jung-In!
omg Mae-Ri making dinner for them all. THREESOME NOW. IT'S SO CUTE. Good God if we could have forgotten the entire wedding crap! A WHOLE DRAMA OF THIS WOULD HAVE ROCKED.
Awww Jung-In's going to cash in on his drama! Kind of sad, considering he'll earn enough money to move out now ;) (Although he could always upgrade all three of them to a nicer place, with a PROPER DOOR).
A Happy Divorce party! So insanely crazy and cute. See, Jung-In will fit in with the group of friends just fine in the end! ;)
Oh god, meta about itself. Drama, you are so lame.
Aww Mae-Ri is officially being a drama script writer! Did she go back to school to get a degree? Yup!
Apparently Jung-In hears from his father. Damn, why did we jump and make it clear Jung-In has moved into his own place and it's been a while since he and Mae-Ri saw one another? I could've written perfectly canon compliant fic! ;)
Aww, at least Mae-Ri and Mu-Kyul managed to stay cute til the end. Marginally.
...Wow, how did this drama manage to point out inconsistency of character can make the actors so confused? Right at the end too! ...It took them until now to work it out, I guess. And that's where we end!
