Okay, so. Some of it I liked, some of it I didn't so much. I have a bad relationship with endings - I sure as hell can't write them properly, but then I don't like a lot of other people's takes on them either!

I know that what I did like overall outweighs what I didn't, and it doesn't take away the journey (the absolute flail!). There are some places they could've gone that would've been an easy, cliche cop-out. For the most part they didn't do that, which I appreciate.

I'll be thinking on this more, I guess, before I pin down a final rating. All I know is that after all of these tears I need something completely light-hearted and fluffy to watch next!

OH GOD! What now? THIS SHOW NEVER DOES THINGS WITHIN A TIMEFRAME YOU EXPECT. I am only minorly concerned as to how it's going to end now, because they've kept this up to a stellar level all the way, and I'm sure there's a (good) plan. AND POTENTIALLY ONE THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE THE DREADED TIME-JUMP THAT SO MANY DRAMAS RELY ON AT THE END. Ohmy <333

Barely got these episodes in under the wire! I have to be at work in... almost exactly 8 hours XD I don't seem to have time for everything I want to do these days, but I shall perservere! Dramas are worth it ;) Today sees a lot of revelations from all over the place, and happening for basically every character. Talk about shaking it up!

OMG drama you'd better make some damn sense out of this next week or I'll scream, and you don't want to do that to me! My love is strong but it can turn on you quickly if you betray me! XD eta; No it's okay, it's more mystery than actually nonsensical rubbish. Drama, I'll stop doubting you now XD /eta.

And no previews for the next ep! Goodness, way to let me down at the last minute after SO MUCH WIN xD P.s - not enough Reaper Boy! (Which is why I am using caps with him in yet again WITH NO SHAME AT ALL. SOMEONE HAS TO LOVE HIM, AND I DO IT VERY WHOLEHEARTEDLY).

...But you know what, I am sticking with you anyway, I'm far too attached now <3

Episode five was really blah in general. I think too much of the boring business issues had to be explained and carried out (and I do complain when things aren't shown properly, so I won't!), and not enough to latch on to. Thankfully there were the Reaper Boy scenes. I. LOVE. HIS. FACE. If it weren't for him this episode would've really been a low point.

Six was better. A lot of people are clashing now, it's starting to get interesting, I think.

(And my picspam was totally misplaced! THIS episode was the one to do; I think there were about EIGHT costume changes for him in all during episode five! XD And yes, my liveblog does include a gratuitous picspam of both his face and his clothes under the cut XD)

It must've taken me about three hours to watch two hour-long episodes because I kept rewatching some of the scenes. This drama is shaping up to have some golden moments to look back on XD

You know how some people can't help themselves when it comes to spoilers and reviews and such? Yeah, I'm one of those... Sometimes! (There are no spoilers in my post, only screencaps. Reading the recaps linked to WILL tell you exactly what happens in the first two episodes).

I've been reading the recaps for 49 Days episodes 1 and 2, and I presume subs won't be out until the weekend is over, but I'm already geared up to watch this. I'm just using the Dramabeans reviewers (javabeans and girlfriday's) good first impressions as my excuse, since I tend to agree fairly often with their interpretation and feeling on a lot of dramas. But see, I could've followed Dream High based on that alone, and didn't.

Really it's Jung Il-Woo. I don't quite get it myself; he's one of these guys who I can see is handsome, who doesn't usually do it for me, and yet sometimes I look at pictures of him and I get all "BUT OMG HE IS *SO* HANDSOME" waaaay out of all normal proportion ;D
