Mary Stayed Out All Night, EPs 13-14

Aims today: Watch two episodes of Mary Stayed Out All Night.
Although I'm torn: if I watch the next two, four total, I actually get it over with TODAY and IT'S FINISHED and I never have to see it again, but that means having to actually put myself through the rest of this all in one go. Can I take that much stupid?

- Mary Stayed Out All Night, Episode 13: Lesson on owning a home; LOCK THE EFFING DOOR IF YOU WANT TO KEEP PEOPLE OUT.
Hiding Mae-Ri is useless when her duvet is there, and her suitcase in the corner XD Because only in dramaland is it an idea to hide inside a suitcase. At least everyone is equally STUPID.
Even Jung-In is playing along; it's more like he's assisting Mae-Ri and Mu-Kyul than trying to get Mae-Ri to like him. It's not even like in You're Beautiful where Shin-Woo was protecting Mi-Nyeo. It's TOO PASSIVE.
Oh, God, PLEASE DISOWN HER. She's getting more and more rebellious, she may as well just let it happen.
YAY THREESOME. Cough. Oooh NICE ROOM. Can we pretend that contemplative look at the DOUBLE bed is him thinking of the option they haven't discussed; Mu-Kyul sharing Jung-In's bed?
Wow, that screen is no privacy at all! Jung-In must be an exhibitionist... And he's about to become a voyeur I imagine :D Why does everyone in this show sleep fully dressed? And omg why couldn't this show have been all about the three of them sharing a house and stupid hijinks from the beginning?! Am having flashbacks to Mu-Kyul in Jung-In's bed wrapped up in the sheets up over his nipples like a GIRL XD
Oh please God do they have to end up together? I know they're both useless sucky parents and deserve one another but it's not exactly feasible all the time that the kids AND their single parents would all fall in love with one another!
...Apparently divorce is an option. Which means it always has been, right? Everyone just conveniently decided to forget that until now?
How annoying is it for actual singers in bands to keep acting with Geun-Suk and watching him do all the lead singer stuff? Although I suppose they too are trying to muscle in on his acting scene ;D And Jae-Wook made it as an actor long before his band came into the limelight. They're only just about to release an album.
Oh, right. You PARENTS decided your children would marry, you 'promised', so obviously the children's feeling on this were never going to be an issue. SIIIICK.
Oh Mu-Kyul, isn't it great when you bark questions and then don't listen for the answers and just throw tantrums instead. Such a man thing. These parts do make Jung-In look so much better. Swooping in silently to offer her comfort with his jacket over her shoulders while her man makes her cry. I wish men would just now and then promise not to be thoughtless and make women cry.
This dude is really blind to Mae-Ri's faults isn't he. Not that it's really her fault the ring got pawned, but none of them know that except her and So-Young who refuses to take the blame. So Mae-Ri looks bad to everyone else and yet Jung-In's father is completely intent on her. I suppose he expects all this 'wife training' will hammer out what he perceives as her faults.
Urgh, Mu-Kyul knows he's done wrong everytime he throws a temper tantrum and yet he KEEPS DOING IT. And since when have they had trouble communicating?
PEOPLE WALKING NEXT TO ONE ANOTHER DON'T FALL ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER, EVER. Such a drama cliche.
BOY TOUCHING. Now see, trying to get an unconscious person into bed and collapsing with their weight, THAT'S a good way for people to fall on top of each other ;)
But they don't seem to be dealing with issues anymore. Unless they're doing it all offscreen, which is useless. To me they look like they're going to fall apart. And proving my point that Mae-Ri doesn't need either of them in the end.
Geun-Suk really does pronounce his English in a lovely way. He doesn't drawl 'thank you' at all.
Jung-In's drama is finally about to start filming? Or the music video for the... title song? ah, stupid contrived situations. That was one too but it made me flinch!
LOL Mu-Kyul/his hair otp!
...THEY ARE LAYING INNOCENTLY ON A BED. Jesus, it's not like they were naked and having sex. Is he locking her in her room now? This again? How old was she when this started because I think we keep reverting backwards. I'm literally expecting that if this marriage were to go anywhere the Worst Fathers Ever would want the old-fashioned proof of losing her virginity on her wedding night. If they didn't want to stand and watch just to be sure. FFS.
HAHA SHE RAN AWAY. She should disown her father since he's only threatened it ;)
Awww, her friends are such fangirls XD
...The answer is clearly to kidnap Mu-Kyul! That will make Mae-Ri forget him, fall in love with Jung-In, marry just like they've been trying to force her and everything ends just fine! ...Great plan, Jung-In's dad. You're pretty much officially crazy now. I hope someone diagnoses you certifiably insane.
Wow the next episode looks nice and stupid. We're getting used to that!

- Mary Stayed Out All Night, Episode 14: Good, will Jung-In figure out right away that the Worst Dads Ever have come up with this stupid ploy?
...Which doesn't even make any sense anymore since they decided they were BORED of kidnapping him. That wasn't even throw him off a cliff and be rid of him!
OMG her friends are so cute sometimes. And he doesn't play guitar all the way through anyway so maybe the hand thing was just so he couldn't fight back for the ridiculous not-kidnapping? Which only served to put Jung-In and his drama people on edge all day.
Oh, okay, that fooled me. He was dreaming it? He's dreaming NOW? For goodness sake.
Oh yay, because we haven't had enough scenes with Seo-Jun feeling sorry for herself and getting drunk yet!
Well that was dumb, asking about Mu-Kyul's kidnapping in front of HIS MOTHER.
OMFG HE'S HITTING HER AGAIN? I am seriously sick of this character.
Thank god SOMEBODY wants Mae-Ri to be happy and do what SHE WANTS. Jung-In, you hero <3
Yes, let's pretend she doesn't have a dad! Her dad has done nothing good for her AT ALL. And yet Mu-Kyul is now understanding of his crazy? We understod back when it made sense. Now dad is just having a huge hissy fit because his daughter is saying no to him!
LOL I love horny!Mu-Kyul.
Is Jung-In only just remembering this stuff? I can imagine he's been in deep, DEEP denial about his father all this time. I have no other way to explain why he has blindly followed his 'God-like' father.
I like the idea of in the future, Mu-Kyul and Mae-Ri living simply but happily, and Jung-In as their friend who is rich but doesn't interfere, just watches over them contentedly. (Or, you know... THREESOMES).
DON'T HIT HIM. WHY DO ALL THESE GODAWFUL PARENTS HIT THEIR CHILDREN?! LOCK THEM UP ALREADY.
...Why is Mae-Ri still staying with Jung-In anyway? Jung-In is reluctant to reveal his father's part in this? Not surprising, I guess. But it'll come back to bite him in the ass sometime soon.
Hi, children, you both now have admitted the wedding isn't going to happen, so go down to that town hall, registry office or whatever, and have that piece of paper that says you've registered your marriage UNDONE. YOU ARE ACTUALLY LEGAL ADULTS.
HAHAHA OMG EAVESDROPPING?! IT'S ALL ABOUT HER ANYWAY AND THOSE BOYS WON'T CARE IF SHE HEARS!
Did Mu-Kyul basically just admit that it's him vs. Jung-In's dad for Mae-Ri? That just reached new heights of creepy!
Mu-Kyul and Jung-In are on the same team and yet they are still so hostile. It's kind of hot ;) It makes sense that Mu-Kyul doesn't just fall in and accept Jung-In as an innocent pawn in this game rightaway too. It isn't that easy.
Oh, everyone assumes his girlfriend is Seo-Jun. And yet again it's a recycled plotline.
The only thing these men can do now is actually kidnapboth Mae-Ri and Jung-In, tie them up, stand them at the altar and say the words FOR THEM... HE JUST SAID THEY WOULD USE FORCE IF THEY HAD TO. IN WHAT WORLD DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?! Jesus Christ. It's not like marriage is a MAGIC contract. They could have agreed, done it, then got divorced anyway! Or stayed married and then had their own affairs ;) Whatever! ;D
Oh god, some random dude knows best. Over her. Let's just go right over the top and have him hit her in a minute once she's confessed too. That'd really make me hate this drama. OH GOOD GOD. A PROMISE?! HE ISN'T OWED ANY LOYALTY AT ALL, RUN AWAY MAE-RI. FUCKING HELL. It's all so stupid I could scratch my EYES out, except this stupid drama isn't even worth that!
How about we learn from this that loyalty is only owed to people deserving of it, Mae-Ri? It's been such a theme in this drama, loyalty.
It's always a necklace isn't it? XD Men are not very broad-minded ;)
Shouldn't Manager Bang be one of those useless minor bad guys that have been swept right OUT OF THE PLOT by now?
Yeah, we know, Jung-In is lonely. I'm afraid he lived a lonely life right from the start. If that's going to be an issue now he can start looking for a girlfriend the NORMAL WAY. Awww, she likes you Jung-In, as a friend, but she can't see you anymore.
Poor Jung-In, though, his father is insane and he has nobody anymore. That's why I wish he could be friends with Mae-Ri and Mu-Kyul someday.
Gotta love how phones always just happen to be in an area where there's no reception just at the right moments in dramas ;)
See how Mu-Kyul is alone in the car, Mae-Ri is alone at his home, and Jung-In is alone at HIS. See the answer, drama? THREEEEEEESOMEEEEE. Oh God, not flashbacking to music, so boring. YOU DIDN'T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP ANYWAY. Please don't make Jung-In go crazy for the last couple of episodes to make it 'interesting'.
Awww, Mu-Kyul wants to surprise her, his little smirky smirk of plottage ;) Urgh there's misunderstandings coming. She thinks Mu-Kyul is going to be late, he's planning to surprise her, so she'll go to hear Jung-In out because she has nothing else holding her back and she's a caring person and wants him to be able to settle things. Although I have to admit his Christmas was going to be the most depressing ever. Please Mu-Kyul, don't walk in on this and throw a tantrum. Invite Jung-In over and have a reluctant but eventually happy Christmas all together. I'll pretend this is what really happens next while they do whatever the hell they want ;)
Yup, there's Mu-Kyul walking in. End of episode. (Seriously, how many times can someone walk in on other people and have a misunderstanding in ONE drama?)
