OMG is it just me, or are they really all of a sudden pushing the Emily/Hotch?! I remember browsing a forum once and NOBODY but me seemed to ship this pairing, and yet, if MY SHOW does it...!

I don't know, TV has such a history of ruining ships once they make them canon. It might be another Grissom/Sara. I love them together, but when they actually get together I might lose all interest because as individuals together they aren't the same as individuals almost together.

I could be satisfied with the hints. I can work with hints XD

On the other hand though, it is rather fascinating to see the contrast between Derek and Emily and how they react to Hotch. And even Rossi, he is basically the one who holds Derek back, and while he doesn't push Emily forward, he doesn't STOP her. The contrast almost between a man concerned for his friend (or you know, if you ship that way...), and this woman who has no fear of putting herself forward and saying she cares too. I can't exactly articulate it properly, without possibly making an ass of myself because I might inadvertently make it about gender and het versus gay relationships and a woman's love for a man against a man's love for a man :x

UNLESS I'm just seeing it as Emily/Hotch because I want to (which is what shipping it is all about!).

Luckily no-one expects me to actually discuss the events of the actual plot of the episode, or is waiting for it. Though I so think Tommy will be visiting Darrin wherever he ends up - prison or a secure psychiatric home. I mean, if his visions are proven to be true, and he seemingly has dealt with the issue the only way he could (by killing his father) is he still considered psychotic? Or just a murderer?
