[I've read Cordelia's Honour, Young Miles, Miles, Mystery and Mayhem, Miles In Love, and am currently reading Miles Errant.]

OMG. You know, I was really annoyed at having to read the series out of the proper order thanks to Miles Errant being out of stock at Christmas when I ordered the others I needed. So I read Miles in Love first. And seriously, you can tell, being that there is more to read after Miles Errant that Miles wasn't actually going to be DEAD-dead, without even having to finish. But emotionally, I am still getting upset with the entire situation. AND I'VE READ THE NEXT BOOKS AND READ ABOUT HIM BEING DEAD/CRYOGENICALLY FROZEN AS A BACKSTORY REMARK. I KNOW ALL THAT.

It's having to see Cordelia and Aral handle the uncertainty, all the while having to plan for the future practically, because that is who they both are. I love Cordelia, and everything she says and does makes me love and admire her more. And every bit of pain she suffers makes me want to cry. If I was in the habit of consciously having heroes she'd be one of them XD

I read A Civil Campaign first (part of Miles in Love, I guess), and I STILL cry all over myself over that entire situation.

er..have you read Memory? that's my favorite FAVORITE Miles book.
