curious about lies. i'm odd.

I suppose I should never say it feels like a day for LIES, but it feels like a day for this, at least.


I'm just curious, mostly as to habits of people online and their history and wariness, AND just post anonymously by default if you like so there's nothing you need to be attached to... But, is there anything you've ever lied to anyone about online? And what, or why?

I know for a fact a couple of people on my friendslist in the past have used false names, which is understandable, and I'd only found out by Christmas card sending wherein a false name through a letterbox would've looked shady to parents. Or by referencing real life and not editing their name, or perhaps just leaving it in as if to slip it into conversation, who knows ;)

But yes. Little white lies, fibs, or big huge great stonking ones, anyone?
