learning i didn't do in school
May. 3rd, 2007 07:58 amI am so goddamned confused.
I've always considered myself on GMT. You know, living in the UK and all. But apparently, as I'm learning now from doing the research I never cared to know before, because of Daylight Savings Time, we are now on what's know as "British Summer Time", not GMT. Well good because I was getting sick of my LJ comments and everything coming up an hour early with no explanation! SICK OF IT I TELL YOU. And GMT also says it's 6:55, not 7:55 which I know it is. I think we'd all know if we were opening the shop an hour early, and leaving and hour before the rest of town shut their shops.
Right, so at least I figured out that mystery. Great what they don't tell you in school. They should teach about timezones for us internet-based personalities ;)
