Hmmmm, well Project Catwalk was sort of interesting. Not enthralled by the people (ohthe flamboyant bloke is pissing me OFF bigtime) or the snooty judges and the way it's just a fashion version of, like, Pop Idol and stuff, but oh, the clothes. The design briefs, the fashion. I still love it!
So the first design brief was to create a dress for a garden party. Now here's the real challenge; they had to buy their materials from B&Q! And while they were showing them all rooting through stuff to use I saw someone pass seed packets and now I want so much to design a dress made entirely of seed packets, so much.
The people whose designs I liked most stayed too, yay! Uhm, it was, Lesley (36-year-old single mother of 3 including two blind children) and Matthew (the youngest in the competition, all floppy brown hair and pink cheeks, n'awwwww). I barely remember anyone else's names! Really unimportant in the grand scheme.
I always wanted an easel in my room because I thought it'd be awesome, but now I've thought of something better; I want a mannequin on a stand. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally do!
