His Terrible Swift Sword

Oh God I needed that fic. Eight chapters of decent length, two of my favourite X-Men pairings, three completely different love stories with contrasting scenes that were all wonderful and perfect for the people in their own ways. Thoughts and angles and perceptions that made you think and portrayed the characters just right.

And explained some things I didn't know either. Even the minor characters had their motivations, they were real too. And a line towards the end made me laugh so much I got a tear in my eye. Of course the ending in general was bittersweet, but it was just right.

I so totally needed that. I love good fic. I wish I could have it more often, but I'll take what I can get!
