So I very very stupidly put the sofabed up yesterday back as a sofa, and coz it's stupid and slants back I wasn't laying flat last night and couldn't sleep properly. And my cat Meg wouldn't get off the bed [once upon a time no-one could touch her without being clawed and hissed at and now she won't leave me alone all night] so I couldn't change it. I'm dumb; I'd rather pull my covers off the sofabed and arrange them on the floor to get my back flat and rested than kick my cat off the sofabed so I can collapse it back down again.
But the night before I kept waking up with back aches and problems too. Maybe my mum is right and I do need a proper bed. Hmmm.
Yeah so it's like half seven, I went to bed at three roughly, and have been woken up a few times during the night. So yay for four hours sleep?
I'm so hijacking my parents bed sometime today. Urgh.

Man, searching around fanfic stuff is fun. As long as you stay outside of your own fandom, unfortunately. Everyone's so much more creative and up for challenges everywhere else.
Like I found a community where every day after Christmas, [starting the 26th] a line from the song 12 Days Of Christmas was posted and you had a day to try and write something of any length to go with it. And they didn't have to follow on each day, or even be the same fandom. It was interesting :)
I still swear the Lords were the highest number and not the drummers though... Oh what do I know?
I found someone's challenge journal too, which sounds like a really good idea to me, if you have about 30 people friended who are likely to play along and do it. There was a challenge to write something using an icon of your choice from the selection, to use any lyrics this person had used over the years [it must've been a list of about 30 or 40 songs?] to try and write something, to comment and get a quote from a book they had lying around and see what it inspired you... Really interesting, random things that aren't too random at all. Music, writing, icons, it all inspires people pretty often.
Ahem, yeah I woke up at half seven when my mum left for work [yeah she cannot stand spending day-in and day-out in the company of my jobless father so she's gone back to work to fill time til we move] and fell into my parents bed and maybe slept from half eight until uhm, half twelve? Not much but I don't care because it was more comfortable than I've slept in a while. And I have no idea where my dad is; the car is just not parked and he's gone out somewhere. And I thought being that mum wasn't here he'd have no-one dragging him out for a couple of hours so I'd be stuck with him and his pinching and hair pulling [yes he does that to me, he's a big kid].
You can tell I'm bored, I keep updating everywhere. Really it's mostly because I think EVERYONE should do this:
Pick your top five (or fewer, if you can't think of that many) favorite pairings, and rec one story for each, by writers who are on your friends list. If there's no one on your flist who writes that pairing, then rec the first story that comes into your head.

I'm gonna try to myself, it just might take a while is all... There's today's little task ;)
edite; You know you're in trouble when your daily Garfield comics start to fit in with your real life and this isn't the first time it's happened. No-one get any ideas from that! :P
