emothySo, my parents sodded off to the hospital at half five and they still aren't back yet. Though you do always spend hours in the waiting room.
My dad was saying yesterday that for a few days now his eye has been getting cloudy and hard to see out of. He drives for a living, goes to work at 4.30am and speeds way over the limit down empty twisty-turny country roads in pitch blackness. So you can see why the not being able to see properly thing would be a problem.
Apparently, about six years ago an eye specialist told him he wasp ossibly getting the beginnings of a cateract.
Anyway he went to the doctors this afternoon and they don't know what it is and sent him off to hospital. He's been freaking out like a big baby.
I know it's scary, but surely nothing can get so bad in five days that it's irreversible? And there's all this laser surgery stuff now. And he HAS another eye. It won't leave him completely useless.
I'm on such a Remus/Sirius kick that I'm actually rereading the parts of the HP books they are in. Only because sitting up to the computer reading fanfic after fanfic really hurts my eyes and my head. But fanfic is way better ;)
