OMG I LOVE MY SHOW!

Okay, so this episode creeped me out wildly. I can't explain why torture, rape and murder isn't enough to squick me out, but impregnating women and bringing up their babies as your own is. I love that the show had a team involved, a husband and wife - I've read about a lot of serial killers and etc who operate as a married pair. The reasoning behind it was understandable. Although I knew what Hotch was doing with Morgan from the start, I had assumed it was because Hotch had been forced out. (And I would've assumed without the badge he would've been unable to resist the urge to find Foyet and we would've seen parts of that leading up to the fatal encouter probably in the season finale). Of course I should have more faith in my show. It'll be great to see how the dynamic changes with our rookie leader Derek, and how Hotch is able (or unable) to take a backseat. Will it be easier for him to do his job when he doesn't have the responsibilities to worry about first, just following orders?

ALSO! HOW BADASS IS THIS SHOW THAT THE WOMEN WENT IN FIRST?! I know there was a reason for it, but nobody even blinked at the idea of sending two women into this house first, alone. I mean, they usually have plenty more than two entering first at any unsub's home, don't they? Anyway, who cares XD

And I was so shook up by the whole thing I so didn't see it coming that the older boy was going to be related to the older couple. I should've realised they'd find a way to give them a happy ending. Poor kid though, only the team know why him being called Michael is so fricking creepy. I hope the other girl who gave birth chose her own name for her baby.

Now to go find the trailer for next week's ep! Show, more Emily next time please <3

eta; aw damn, no new ep til 4th November apparently! HATE YOU SHOW. MAKE ME HAPPY THEN TAKE ME BACK DOWN :P :P :P! Also read someone else's review, said "not enough Emily; is there ever?". I agree 100%!

I would really love, since they didn't/couldn't do it in this ep, to be able to see if there was any fallout on J.J. or Emily's side based on this case. At the end of the day, the latest abductee didn't even receive any abuse, which is usually not the case, and there was one othe girl who landed herself a beloved baby in the end, as well as a lot of scars. But it was still completely skeevy, even compared to last week when they didn't save any of the victims. I'd like to know how, as women, they felt about the entire situation. Especially since it was highly orchestrated by a woman, too.
