why did it have to be me to get it?

I have a cold :(

Didn't sleep well at all. Kept waking up. When I asked mum to make me a Lemsip or a Beechams this morning while I was getting ready (so it would cool down) she asked if I had a cold. When I said yes, she told me to take the day off.

Someone just quit yesterday, so there's one person on holiday, one person out sick, and now one has quit. We're understaffed enough as it is.

I'm going to wrap myself up and sweat it the hell out. I'd only be laying in bed miserable all day anyway, might as well be miserable at work and pass my germs on to some people.
