burning cds is crap
Jul. 16th, 2007 10:31 pmURGH WHY DOES EVERYTHING FROM OUR SHOP HAVE TO SUCK?!
Okay, I know why, because it's cheap, but it really isn't me this time. Neither my computer NOR the laptop, which is newer and has better programs and practically nothing on it, recognises the blank discs as having any storage space on them, even though they're supposed to be 4.7GB.
I suppose it has something to do with DVD-R-slash-DVD-RW-slash-DVD-R/RW-slash-DVDR+W capacities or whatever. The diagrams don't always exactly explain themselves. AND mum never gave me the bloody receipt for them so I either have to dig it up out of the bin (which only has discarded receipts in it anyway, and they're changed right before the staff buy stuff so pretty empty, and I'm prepared to do) or else I can't have my money back and have to find some way to spend nearly £5 in our crummy shop.
Although, I do now need to get more of what I already have; 700KB CD-Rs. And I think we have those, so I can always swap and try again.
So bloody annoying and a waste of time though. Urgh.
