staying over, not overstaying

I just got back from spending Saturday night after work sleeping over, and all day today at Carrie's. There was making out. We're still not a couple I swear. Dawn from work saw us out walking; me with my arm round Carrie's waist, her arm around my shoulders. And Jan asked Carrie to stay back Saturday night just to say to her purposefully, "you and Emma get along well don't you?" and expected to get a reaction. Pfffft.

We're eagerly awaiting what will happen next, who exactly will ask either of us anything, whether they'll actually ask me or Carrie, and how they're going to phrase it. Or if they'll just be trying to catch us having an ass-slapping match upstairs again. Cough.
