We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious. Not in a bad way, but in a "Wow! I wish I had that person's hair/eyes/money/relationship/toenails/whatever."

sneaky wow fic, updates again

Gosh, have you ever not been able to read anything by someone because they insist they fucking suck at writing and can't write and have nothing to show you and etc blahblahblah? And then gone digging and found some bits to read and been really pissed at them for LYING about being sucky? And wanted to be able to explain how beautiful some of their words and imagery is, how some of their sentences are so delicate and unique to them and precious, but uhm having trouble processing it all to quite tell them?


No-one I am friends with who writes is allowed to tell me they suck now at all EVER. Not allowed to decide for me before I've even had a chance to read stuff of theirs!

And also, it's older stuff, and people improve over time through experience, so uhm, jeeze what might I be missing now?!

You know that meme where you write something to about 10 or 15 people and they have to guess which number they are? I should so do that but try and explain why I love their writing.


In regular life news I was trying to see how long I could go without posting in my LJ. Because of Lorena having a minimally moving friendspage I lasted a whole three days or something. In more regular life news, work makes me very, very tired all the time. And gives me bruises. And a customer asked if I was on acid today because of the porcelain doll that looked like it wanted to eat brains. That is all.
