noisy neighbours who aren't ours!
Jul. 15th, 2005 12:42 pmOkay, so my dad answers his mobile and is talking and all of a sudden I hear him go, "Oh brilliant! Oh that's brilliant!" which sounded really weird coming from him by the way, like he should've been under twenty be allowed to sound like that.
When he gets off the phone I ask what's going on. It was my mum calling, which I kind of figured; she went on the train yesterday through London and back out to Harrow to stay with her friend Lin, and she went back to our old house, who knows why, coz she's nosey, and they've seen Tommy around, so he's okay and someone's looking after him. Though apparently he's a slippery bugger and that's why the people who moved in to our place never caught him.
And everyone hates them according to our old next door neighbour - they play loud music, they have a huge rottweiler (sp?) dog, and they just generally piss everyone off. That's what my dad was so excited about, because people couldn't control their dogs down our road and my dad used to phone up the police and complain a lot. When he was working shifts and sleeping through the day he couldn't because of all the dogs barking because their owners didn't give a crap about them.
He kept going, "oh that's so totally made my day!" and allsorts. And I'm so fucking glad Tommy is okay, even if he was a dweeby cat. I could really cry about that, the other day when I was at work we were discussing cats and I said we had five and mum had to correct me and say we only had four, and it took me a minute to even get what she meant.
In other news I'm on blood.co.uk, looking up where in this town you can go to donate blood, and when. I never knew you could do it at the age of 17, I thought it was eighteen. But yeah since I have no problem with needles like most crazy afraid people why not do my bit? I just have to find the place on the map, it's totally close by. There's my road, my aunt & uncle's road, and then it's in the next road somewhere!
There's some other stuff I plan to look into, too. And I'm going to get on and do some writing today too. I am.
