my mum says I have a thing for Grissom on CSI ;)

Oh, wow. So I'm reading up on serial killers and things after a fic was inspired by one, and dude that fic just won't be able to do his story justice at ALL, no matter who wrote it it wouldn't, and I'm on my CSI kick anyway and wanting to write forensic styley fic, or an actual novel type thing, and the more I read the more I want to. It's becoming a serious idea in my head, a proper goal. I'm always watching programs on Discovery and the like, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, Murder Detectives, I love all that. My parents got me into it, we used to sit and watch them together all the time. I'm totally going to do my research, but just reading up on these serial killers and people trying to work out the psychology behind it... Hell yeah I'd love to be able to write something like this. And not just your stupid regular whodunnit crime novel, something that digs a bit deeper, something that gets to people.

I don't know if I'm capable, but if you don't try you'll never know! I mean I could spend the next five years simply researching ideas and outlining plot and never write an actual word. And it doesn't sound like a chore.

*dives back in to the gruesome stories of murder, mutilation, rape, paedophilia...*
