- The Return of Iljimae, Episode 21: Of course Iljimae isn't invincible XD He does a lot of dangerous stuff, and the writers have always loved to torture him anyway! XD
Sung Kae is quite the bumbling fool XD Iljimae is seriously injured and he's still petrified of him!
Well, that was karma. One good deed hardly outweighs a lifetime of bad, unless we're going to start philosophizing. And I am not XD
I was about to complain about the fact that he should surely have internal injuries and be unable to go on like that, but he's so pretty when he suffers :x And he is tripping over and suffering a LOT *_*

This is the biggest driving force I have for this whole story, his search for his mother. THIS is the part that really gets me. I think because I have such a wonderful relationship with my own mother it means more to me.
ILJIMAE RECOGNISES THE FOOD SHE COOKED, DOESN'T HE? COME ON, COME ON, COME ON. HE KNOWS AND HE ISN'T GOING TO SAY SO. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OMFG. "I WISH I COULD EAT THIS EVERY DAY." YOU CUTEASS. I love how he's an adult grown now and yet nobody blinks at the thought that he and his mother would want to live together as a family (even though they both sort of have lovers now XD). It's the FAMILY part that gets me. Because although they are blood-related they haven't been together like blood families usually are. So it is a kind of make-shift family. The kind I love, the kind where you choose to love someone <33333 (And Iljimae is already choosing to love her, I can see :D He wanted to find his mother, but what guarantee was there she would be a good person? BUT SHE IS.)
I also effing love this shaman woman. She's overdramatic but effective, and very beautiful.
Oh Geol-Chi <3333 You sweetheart. Able to admit Iljimae is not treating Wol-Hee well enough, and asking her to find happiness elsewhere. She can't, but it's sweet that he wants more for her, even at the expensive of the baby he raised.
As for this "he said he'll come", it's stupid to take him so literally. Iljimae meant "stay here while the attack takes place and I will come to take you to safety afterwards", not "stay there forever even if you die" after he disappears, presumed wounded or dead.

I am wondering why this was all made so difficult, because I'm assuming Kim Ja Jeom wanted to get Iljimae there, only to incapacitate him with the sound of drums and then potentially kill him? Will we have a final showdown type thing where Iljimae needs to overcome his trauma over the drums to save Wol-Hee? Like, last time he couldn't do anything to save Dal, but this time he can if he can overcome it?
Iljimae met Bi-Su before, did he never learn his name either? Gosh I need to rewatch for the little details! :x
Is Iljimae realising that even if he doesn't care about his own life, he can't keep his promise to Wol-Hee to have a happily ever after someday if he is dead? :/
