emothyTwo down, four to go omg! XD
- The Return of Iljimae, Episode 19: It's the moments when Iljimae speaks well and battles wits with these trained fighters that he seems so grown up xD But then he gew up noble, and he had those skills early on in life. He forgot himself and became wild, then slowly, slowly came back to some of his former self, and part something entirely new and matured :) This show has been one of the best depictions of coming of age.
DREAM TEEEEEEEEEEEAM COMBINATION! EEEEEEEEE.
Aww their early versions of guns have limitations. Interesting!
Is Iljimae going to sway the hunters? XD Winning with words! :D
lol, they dug a tunnel in. Must've been hard though, out of them all only Iljimae has known a day's hard work! Cha-Dol was an urchin, Seon-Dal a scholar-noble, and Geol-Chi a beggar XD I LOVE THE MOST UNLIKELY DREAM TEAM COMBOS.
We're back to "where is Iljimae", but this time Wol-Hee has faith in him <3 I like when things aren't repetitive because the writers have no ideas, but to make a point as to how far things have actually come ;)

Yes, Yang Po is from Qing :P Called it! And I believe I called that he wanted to take Iljimae back to Qing too. AND I CALLED THAT HE WAS ON BEHALF OF ILJIMAE'S ONCE-FIANCEE TOO.
Being right doesn't disappoint me. I don't consider it predictable, because it wasn't completely obvious whether I was right, I just saw each thing as a strong possibility. And us viewers had enough other plot threads keeping our attention to not make us feel things were being hidden too long and dragged out unneccesarily.
LOL, SOPHISTICATED PLAN. "I can't force Iljimae... but you can! Knock him out and drag him back to Qing!"
STUPID MONK. Iljimae isn't going to kill Kim Ja Jeom. SHUT UP.
I'm still seeing total Stockholm there everytime Iljimae defers to the monk :x
This episode was very lacking in action when you think about it! Previews for the next one look pretty exciting though!
- The Return of Iljimae, Episode 20: Calling an episode 'The Great Explosion' is quite a good way to grab my attention early on, yes XD

(I thought explosives came from China in the first place, lol. For this purpose they're from Europe?)

This is something I loved in Joseon X-Files. The way they show a culture adapting and moving forward with technology, developing guns and cannons for weaponry!
