the gossip

- I "broke up" with Carrie today. In the sense of breaking up wherein there wasn't a proper relationship to begin with. Jenny was talking to me at work about how we were getting on, because things seem more tense these days, and it got me thinking. I did begin to attempt breaking it off last week but I got derailed. This time I didn't let it happen. I didn't cry, at all (I only came close when Carrie started and I felt bad for HER, not for anything I might have lost). She phoned me just after she left to tell me how weird it was. I didn't say much; she talked rubbish between sobs, and if she was expecting me to take it all back, well, that was silly.
AND
- My mommee told me some hot gossip! One of the shop owners of our place is looking into another shop in Clacton at the moment, and there's talk of them buying it and turning into a little shop of either all clothes, or all cards. Sue let this slip to my mum completely accidentally, and mum told her it should definitely be a card shop (which I agree with) because it'd make a killing. She asked Sue if she's go and be the manager of that shop, and Sue said maybe. Mum would go with her in a heartbeat, and she told Sue she reckoned I would too. Which I think I totally would. Shouldn't have to deal with so much shit from customers then! And the extended part of our shop that they rent would be closed off again (it houses cards, clothes and toys right now) and given up. So watch this space to see what happens eh?
And now I need to tidy this room because I have piles of clean clothes and birthday presents about to collapse on me. But I'll end up playing computer games probably.
