I think it's become quite a fashion to make raincoats and etc. more 'interesting' (because when it's raining and we have to wear them it's miserable outside? :/) At least they aren't patterned, I thank God they aren't patterned.
Maybe they put him in so many different outfits because she has to stay in one dress.
MY THEORY EXACTLY. They're trying to balance it out for her! I doubt she's grateful - she has to act opposite some of those monstrosities, how does she keep a straight face XD
