Parents are weird about Grandkids...They can really be annoyed by kids easily, but it's like..when it comes to their own flesh & blood grandchildren...they get giddy.
My mom won't give me my disney movies that are downstairs in her movie collection because she says she has to save them for grandchildren. I swear, ...it drives me batty considering I'm the older of 2 siblings..my brother is only 15... and I don't plan on kids just yet...so it's like "damn it, give me my movies!" but ..ahem..I'm getting sidetracked. I'm glad you're "half coming out" conversation went well. Good for you and I'm glad for you that your parents are making the attempt to accept things rather than fight them. *hugs*
