- Watch at least two more episodes of Wang Qiu Wang Zi season 2. (I'm aiming higher! XD)

Results:

- Wang Qiu Wang Zi Season 2, Episode 7: Oh thank God the stalking Long Ma stuff is over, that's enough already! And Long Ma is acting too clever and in touch with people's emotions, in the anime he never grew up this much! (If at all XD).

Oh, Jue Wei, imitating Long Ma's looks to try and become him and then beat him. And then Cheng Wu tells him he's cute! Oh it IS cute. And what Taichi Dan did in the anime I think?

OOOOOH IS THAT KIRIHARA? He's got a very deep voice :x And he thinks Jue Wei is Long Ma! Qi Yuan, from Li Hai Da, it's got to be Kirihara. And Jue Wei's just figured out what's going on but he can't get out of it now, Qi Yuan just thinks he's scared XD Ah but he's not a stupid boy, he told Long Ma and Cheng Wu. Someone on the team who doesn't make mountains out of molehills and lie because it seems better than telling the truth!

Oooooh Qi Yuan has a sexy stare, I think the eyeliner helps XD

OOOOOOOOOH SANADA! OOOOOOH. AND HE ACTUALLY TOLD QI YUAN OFF IN FRONT OF THEM. AND TOLD HIM TO GO APOLOGIZE TO THEIR CAPTAIN FOR SEEKING OUT A PRIVATE MATCH. So immediately they know that Sanada isn't the captain. AND HOLY SHIT HE'S NOT IN HOSPITAL, IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN? IS THIS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT?! Yukimura is hot :x Oh he's pretty beefy. And really if they were trying to get Yukimura I'd not be impressed at all but a lot of the rival teams don't have the characters quite right and it hasn't bothered me. It helps that I find him hot anyway :x BUT THE TROIKA GANGING UP ON KIRIHARA, I WANTED THIS FROM CANON AND NOW I GET IT XD AHAHAHA BRAT YELLING BACK AT THEM.

Sanada = Zhen Tian. Who is a little too skinny for his character, especially compared to hot captain.

LOL I love how Zhen Tian is the only one who cares that they're being yelled at by Qi Yuan. And they both just criticized their captain, oooo. But of course he doesn't take it to heart. That's quite a different dynamic though, but it kind of makes Yukimura-character more captain and more dominant XD I think it displays the soft but firm character quite well, even if it might not be a canon situation. But then this drama is good at that; changing the situations a little but still getting the same characterization out of it.

And I should comment on what he says, too; that he expects, and completely believes Qi Yuan can one day overcome all three of them and beat them all (and basically says without words that he has to achieve that in order to keep up Li Hai Da's reputation once they are gone). This is like early second-year Troika rather than third year to me if I look at where they are right now in terms of mindset. BUT the drama has already pushed Yuuta's storyline back to include in the drama timeline so this is more exposition really isn't it.

LOL Zhen Zhi wants you to stop discussing his ex-boybest-friends' team! Holy cow that's only part one of three I've been rambling about XD Onwards! To some filler stuff; the sports day is coming up, and Long Ma continues to be a jerk, awww the true Long Ma I know and understand ;) Awwwww Chun Long is coaching Jue Wei. Cute!

Typical Zhou Zhu: "Long Ma is being kind by beating him hollow; you wouldn't want an opponent of yours to win playing half-heartedly". Urgh, Long Ma is cute when he's learning to be a good guy but all this apologizing to Long Ma all the time and him being right is still an annoying part. He's just a kid compared to the third years, and he ISN'T mature for his age in general!

OH MY. Zhen Zhi and Chun Long playing basketball. ARM MUSCLES.

JUE WEI STOP BEING SO CUTE. LONG MA BELONGS WITH XIAO BO NO MATTER WHERE HE WENT XD

Liu Jiao = Rokkaku? LMAO They play "happy tennis"! Ooo dorm scene, will there be a message from Guo Guang? And Zhou Zhu has an "internet friend" who sends him weird snacks and his name is Tan Shi Hu. Saeki? This is a different angle for their friendship to take! They're supposed to know one another's tennis, how can their match happen the way it did in the anime/manga if they don't even seem to know the other plays?


- Wang Qiu Wang Zi Season 2, Episode 8: Oh, keep making fun, I love that about you terrible teammates of Qing Xue. OMFG STOP MESSING ABOUT YOU TWO YOU'RE IMPOSSIBLY CUTE RIGHT NOW XD Qu Xing/Cheng Wu SITTING IN A TREE... OF FLOWERS!

Oooh I see a cute rival team member! Show me the rest! ...There's only six of them. They need at least seven for a match. And I think there's only one super-cute guy but a few others that might be okay once we get proper shots of them XD Ah, their captain is "missing". AHAHA OMG DA SHI, CHUN LONG AND HAI TANG ARE LAUGHING AT THEM. ADORABLE AND SO BAD <3

I wonder who these guys in the park are. Just random bullies? Ah, here comes Long Ma. Long Ma superboy who is everywhere to take out every tennis bully in the world. Blaaahhh. Wei Xiao Kui = Aoi.

Ju Wan just came into the dorm wearing his backpack on his front. I adore his character so much XD It's Eiji without all the impossible bouncing around and cat noises. "I'm not going, even if you beat me to death!"

HERE IT COMES, AND IT'S THE HOT GUY. YES. YES!!! OMG HE PULLED OUT WHAT ZHOU ZHU SENT HIM. Bah, that should've been so much better than that, I demand more interaction between them!

OMG Liu Jiao are nuts. Tennis practice catching balls in nets and playing what looks like tag XD I love them. "They call this tennis practice, it's like a circus."

And they've accidentally drunk the Qing Juice. Did I already mention two hundred times that I love Qing Xue? Ju Wan praising Hai Tang for giving it to them and possibly taking out their opponents, and Hai Tang not meaning to do it, Cheng Wu backing him up, and Zhen Zhi trying to calm him down. Rikkai obviously own my black heart, but Seigaku will always own my little pink, furry, squishy one ;D

Oh God. Cabbage, tangerine, celerey, radish, cucumber... I would be sick drinking that juice too!

ZHOU ZHU, DON'T TOUCH DA SHI LIKE THAT NOW I WANT TO SHIP YOU TOO. YOU'RE BOTH PRETTY HOTASSES.

I like this variation on their playground XD It's more tennis-y! And it's sweet how they train together, again a different approach but ending with the two teams becoming quite friendly compared to relationships with other opponents.

...Since when did Rokkaku have a teammate with such a fighting attitude? He went to challenge Bing Di all by himself, when all that was suggested to him was that if he wanted a friendly match for practice they would be a challenge since Qing Xue aren't allowed to play personal matches. And now he's creaming what looks like their regulars?

LOL, "Da Shi, Qing Xue wasn't like this before. How is it that since Guo Guang left you've learned how to stir up trouble?" Now that's the most Atobe-like thing I think he's ever said XD I think they just haven't let this actor play this part casually enough, the Chinese seem to emphasize everything so much in their language maybe it wouldn't work. But he gets too ruffled too easily when he should be making sharp remarks like that instead. Oh, Guo Guang, I really miss you. They're not even doing little encouraging text messages from the captain in any episodes right now :(

Poor Da Shi though, is he going to go off on a guilt-trip for getting the blame for this? I would kind of like the Da Shi drama :x He's more confident in this than the anime, he needs some shaking up.

- Wang Qiu Wang Zi Season 2, Episode 9: We play Liu Jiao now, yes? I shamelessly want more Rikkai Li Hai Da and so you guys need to go down :x WII TENNIS. THEY'RE PLAYING WII TENNIS.

Oh, he's cute. Suddenly Shi Hu knows things about Zhou Zhu, and is pressing him to play a match against one another in the tournament even though the players don't get to choose the line-up, the coaches do it. Except they keep calling him by a different name, "Zuo Buo". It can't even be a nickname, it's nothing like his name. And I'm definitely not mixing up my players because in canon they play doubles against one another. There's no reason for some other random team member to want a match against him. Wait, it could be pronounciation. Like Da Shi is also sometimes written as Shi Yi. Blah, I'll stop reading too much into things XD

Oooooo all this suspicion against Liu Jiao. They might be making friends outside, but they're still suspcious of their motives when it comes to the matches XD But pleeeeeeease, just get on and play noooooow.

GUO GUANG TEXT MESSAGE. COMING HOME!!!!!111111!!! ...BEFORE THE FINAL! So what the hell is going to happen with Qing Xue vs. Li Hai Da?! There's not supposed to be any captains! So confused, so excited, HURRY UP.

I love how it's supposed to be the coaches who decide the line-up and yet it seems to fall to Da Shi and Zhen Zhi, with Zhen Zhi making the final decisions. Chun Long, totally hot. And I think the guy who plays him is one of the oldest out of everyone. At least they're in university for this version ;)

No nonsense from Zhen Zhi! :D Hahaha they threatened Hai Tang his position if he doesn't do as he's told, as they should. And I love how they keep pushing this issue of the fact that their are non-Regulars who can play well too, because the team won't stop once the third years are gone! They have to be prepared to hand over, and to train the players up so that they'll be good enough. In that they have the same attitude as Yukimura-captain whose name hasn't been mentioned yet XD

Chun Long, don't get hurt again! You're too pretty to keep sitting on the sidelines, and Kawamura definitely didn't do it as much as you!

Unf, Zhou Zhu and Shi Hu are hanging out, playing pool, some light casual touching... <3. Am shipping it. And finally next episode we have matches! I'm just being impatient, I know XD


- Wang Qiu Wang Zi Season 2, Episode 10: And welcome to the match from Chun Long's pretty, pretty arms. Oh, I love arm muscles. I'll just be over here watching those because they are supposed to win this in three matches. Nobody's even mentioned who Singles two and one would be in this match at all. Mmmm I'd pat that arm too.

And neither of the team's coaches are at the match, I hadn't even noticed XD It's a chance for the teams to grow or something, some kind of coach-logic. I'd say adult logic but I'm an adult (supposedly) and I don't get it.

He keeps roaring. It's scarily sexy XD Awwwww SO CUTE ALL OF YOU.

Now for the doubles one match, this should involve a fair amount of tactics, reading Ju Wan's direction of travel and sealing off the Tsubami Gaeshi only for Zhou Zhu to counter that again, if we're following the anime properly ;) I might rewatch the anime versions of this match sometime soon. Hehe I like the way they're doing this acrobatic play. Aww it was nowhere near as epic as I was hoping, never mind.

And I thought we'd have resolved this Hai Tang in Singles three by now, but it seems Long Ma really isn't going to play it after all. That's definitely different to the original. Although I don't really remember how it went between Ryoma and Aoi anyway. Aoi was crazy enthusiastic and Ryoma won in the end as always, that's all I've got.

Interesting, Long Ma goes off to warm up so he must be Singles Two, but they're 2-0 ahead and it "seems" Hai Tang will win easily so Long Ma expects some kind of trick. He said to Lin Ying he wanted to be alone, but warming up isn't the same as "I don't want to watch this" and going off to play tennis alone, that's actively expecting another match. Maybe the writers thought having Qing Xue win in three matches wasn't dramatic enough, but there's no other team member for Liu Jiao that they've talked up to put into another match. And no "Secrets of Qing Xue" extra for the second episode in a row! :(


- Wang Qiu Wang Zi Season 2, Episode 11: I wasn't going to watch another one, but the matches aren't over yet and I need resolution! Ah they've worked it out, Xiao Kui fights back when under the most pressure, four or five games down and about to lose.

Although it is nice to have a match without Long Ma playing for a change, I suppose he'll play Xiao Kui after this at some point. Is he injured? Surely they won't swap Long Ma onto the court?

GUO GUANG!!!!!!1111!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHH LOOK AT THE HUGGING I'M SO HAPPY OMFG. YAY YOU STUPID BOYS. OH LOOKIT HAI TANG'S LITTLE FACE LIGHT UP. God it's so easy to ship that in this bloody show. It's almost like shipping Yukimura/Kirihara in the original, what with Hai Tang really seeming like the baby and a bit of a brat, a member of the team who needed constant watching over before Long Ma came along and shook up the line-up. Is there Senbatsu in our future, with Guo Guang as a coach? I want! Because RIKKAI! I MEAN LI HAI DA.

Although, calm down self, that happens after the finals and that would be another series most likely, unless they make this the big one with both team captains fit to play. Ah, they're having a vacation with Liu Jiao just like the coaches were discussing, so that's on the beach with the volleyball like the OVAs? Because after Rokkaku they went to training camp and played Hyotei again in practice matches. Or we're substituting one team for the other, but that won't be the same.

Ooooo in this Bing Di and Li Hai Da play the semi-finals. It was Rikkai and Fudomine in the anime. We never ever got to see Hyotei vs. Rikkai. Though we did get Atobe training at Rikkai against Sanada, which was really all we needed XD I wonder if we'll see any of it :x Because I waaaaant.

Zhen Zhi and his Qing Juice, I love it. His experiments look like an advert for kiddies toy kitchens with all the wild colours, and then he goes and FORCES Jue Wei to drink! Evil Scientist! XD

Awww, adorable, Guo Guang isn't back as captain because he can't play yet, he's still recovering so he's going to let Da Shi make the decisions, but Da Shi had assumed Guo Guang was back and he was captain and that was it XD And now the boys are going to make an issue out of it when obviously Guo Guang has already decided what is right and fair. Oh okay he and Da Shi have discussed it properly <3 Guo Guang's decision stands. He rocks. OOOH LEGS, he's wearing shorts.

And he hasn't gone with them to the training camp! STUPID RECOVERY STUFF :(

Awwww Shi Hu's time to resign from the tennis club because he's going to study overseas. Just in time for Guo Guang's return, now Zhou Zhu can happily forget this fling and go back to his hot captain... What? What did I say? XD
