Mary Stayed Out All Night, EP 9
All caught up until next Monday and Tuesdays episodes get aired and subbed! And the script writer is changing between episodes 10 and 11 so it'll be interesting to see the contrast.

"Why is it you all have so many reasons to hide things?" WHY IS IT, Seo-Jun, that you feel you are so entitled to know everything that goes on with other people's romantic lives? When you aren't involved in any of them? XD
I love Mu-Kyul's 'be a man' face. It's a difficult situation but he's going to face it! <3
SHE'S NOT GOING! And he just isn't listening to her. SHE'S GOT FEELINGS FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Who wants to marry a woman in love with someone else? Go Mu-Kyul, don't say anything, just lend her your strength. I love his ways.
Oh, don't talk to her about her loyalty! That's what made her agree to the stupid arranged marriage in the first place, but loving Mu-Kyul has finally made her stand up against it.
Yep, throw a fit man, you're right and the kids are wrong. NOT. What a loving father, calling his son a useless brat. Why do these people all have such attachments to useless parents? IT'S JUST BLOOD. If this is Korean culture then it's horrible.
Mae-Ri, let me guilt trip you about your mother again. Funny how his answer to ruining her mother's life isn't to work hard to provide for his daughter, but to try and marry her off to wealth, the easy route. YOU'RE TWENTY-FOUR, DON'T LET HIM CONFISCATE YOUR PHONE. Good God, why didn't she refuse to go home if she was going to tell her father the truth? I thought they were supposed to be simply putting it off until the 100 days were up. She just told her father she couldn't marry someone she didn't love, and that Mu-Kyul is the reason. She should've stayed with Mu-Kyul.
Seo-Jun, it's a shitty little plectrum on a piece of string, it does not represent love, because you and Mu-Kyul did not last long and he refused to commit. Get over it.
Mu-Kyul just gets cuter. Throwing paper airplanes at his mother's bedroom window to get her attention. That poor sad child, having to go to such lengths for his own mother's time. And she was too busy with some boyfriend anyway. Mae-Ri isn't like that at least. Mae-Ri is reliable and loyal and warm and giving <3 DON'T CRY MU-KYUL OMG. OMG I MIGHT CRY. GO FIND MAE-RI.

So sad how nobody calls Jung-In by his name. And in drama-world why do people insist on telling complete strangers they make a good/pretty couple? Whose business is it of theirs, and who are they to JUDGE it? So annoying. I couldn't put up with that.
Oh, guitar foreplay, mmmm. HE IS SO IN LOVE. All of a sudden talking about all this commitment. There's got to be some spanners about to be thrown in the works.

Ah the old guilt trip, 'my father is sick and dying, play along for his sake'. Mae-Ri doesn't owe him anything either. He's the one engineering the entire forced marriage. And this episode is SO lacking in subs.
Mu-Kyul's friends aren't being at all helpful, lamenting how useless they'll all be as husbands because of their irregular funds and having to work odd hours playing gigs. Mu-Kyul can't do the 'if you love them set them free' thing, because he knows Jung-In isn't better for Mae-Ri; she doesn't *love* him!
I don't understand this loyalty over love thing, either. Loyalty without love suggests stayng with someone out of obligation. It should be discussions of loyalty alongside love, or that love should breed loyalty.
Oh good God, is she a child or an adult? She's only just met her first love and you think she should see a future and marriage or else it's worthless? FIRST LOVE, GIVE HER A CHANCE. And if first love never works out, why is he so bothered? Let her experience it and get over it, if you're so sure it can't last! DUH. DUUUHHHH.
Lee-An looks like a complete geek with that bright rucksack on. He's supposed to be a big star? XD Oh, the cool and serious against the free and cute xD Both hot. YES, GET MARRIED, BOYS <3 OH WAIT, THIS IS ABOUT MAE-RI? I hate this whole, "legally Mae-Ri and I are married" thing. It was done without her consent for a start, and it's only a piece of paper in reality. She can date and sleep with whoever she wants XD Jung-In has to deal with it. Why stay married to someone who clearly keeps ignoring the marriage? His problem.
Wow, some kind of giving up, Seo-Jun. Kissing doesn't usually mean giving up. Is Mae-Ri going to give him the benefit of the doubt? She isn't the type not to, I don't think. I hope they don't change her, I like her the way she is. Don't run away at the start of the next episode.
