My mum has gotten me into NCIS. I love Gibbs. I love Abby. I love Gibbs/Abby. I was just browsing LJ idly for comms and found people sharing quotes they liked, and now I want to see EVERYTHING. I'll have to find somewhere to download or something.
Also, Jan reminded me today that community exists on the net outside of LJ, lol. It's hard to remember when this site is so huge. But she spent the evening emailing strangers to discuss medication and painkillers given to dogs because her baby, Lily (a beautfiul white German Shepherd, ten months old) has wonky hips and needs surgery eventually and she's on medication right nwo for the pain, but it's been banned in the USA and no-one really knows why. And some vets in the USA are still handing it out. But yeah, random discussions with complete strangers over mutual interests. I wish I could just reach out like that :x
I don't discuss fandoms much anymore. I just write fic for one, and say nothing about any of the others. It's a sad, sad thing when you can't fangirl over what you love with strangers ;)
